Looney Tunes Live – The Experiment sees a human character, Professor Pythagoras Potty, become a cartoon animation right infront of your eyes, who is still able to talk and interact with an audience, live and in real time. The Looney Tunes element then sees a reversal of the process whereby Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Tweety, leave their cartoon world and appear live in the Professor’s laboratory.
In a world where advanced video and computer graphics allow audiences to drive F1 cars, pilot jet fighters, or engage in urban guerrilla warfare all from the comfort of an armchair, the live theatre experience has sometimes appeared dull by comparison.
Oddpost entertainment have changed all that.
By taking the technology that is Motion Capture, and applying their unique style of imaginative creativity and entertainment experience, Oddpost have taken live theatre to a whole new level.
If you are impressed by the technology that is Motion Capture but can’t see how it might meet your needs then we at Oddpost can show you how to utilise it and create a mind-blowing experience that will engage your audience and yet keep them guessing as to how it was done.
The investment in cutting edge technology enables the animated Professor to talk and interact with the audience quite freely and at one point he even invites an audience member to come on stage and have a photograph taken, which is all done within the animation. You have to see it to believe it!
The possibilities are endless and in a world where audiences are used to complex computer and video graphics, the use of real time animated characters in a live environment has enabled Oddpost to put some of the magic back into live theatre.
